Mass Awareness Activities / Programme on Water Conservation Under Tribal Sub Plan at Village Chikhali,Ghodegaon, Pune on 21st December 2018 undertaken by National Water Academy, Pune.

The total water available in live storage of 91 reservoirs in the country being monitored by CWC was 86.373 BCM as on 27.12.2018.This is 53% of the total live storage capacity of these reservoirs and 93% of storage of average of last ten years.The overall storage position is less than the corresponding period of last year in the country as a whole and is less than the average storage of last ten years during the corresponding period.

Central Water Commission in collaboration with Odisha Water Resources Department and the World Bank is organizing the International Dam Safety Conference - 2019 during 13-14 February 2019 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The International Dam Safety Conference - 2019 is a part of the series of Dam Safety Conferences organized earlier in Chennai (2015), Bengaluru (2016), Roorkee (2017), and Thiruvananthapuram (2018).

DPR of Rukni Irrigation Project has been completed by Central Water Commission (B&BBO, Shillong) on 22.12.2018. Cost of the project is Rs 91 Crores with BC Ratio of 1.12 & annual irrigation 24417 hectare in Assam.

Feasibility Study Report for Construction of Rim Embankment around Maithon Reservoir submitted to Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) on 30/11/18. Tentative cost of the project is Rs. 1165 crore with Benefit Cost (BC) ratio of 1.261.
